Meet Jackson (born in 2010)! Energetic is the best word to describe this child. Jackson is on the move and ready to learn and play. He thrives on the consistency his foster family provides him. He enjoys knowing what is going to happen next and when he can have free play. Jackson enjoys school and reads at a third-grade level. Staff at the school love Jackson and say he “brightens” their day. A very social child, Jackson loves to interact with adults, showing off his cars and other toys, by giving the toy to you, he is asking that you use your imagination, make the sounds and try it out yourself. Jackson takes trips to the library and has fun at the park, he also likes swimming and the occasional horse-back riding. Adults who interact with Jackson fall in love with his sweet smile and his charismatic personality.
Currently, we are assisting over 640 foster families, over 1400 foster children, and over 400 adopted children in our service area. Our goal is to be a support to the families, children and youth in this area, and we work tirelessly to provide much needed services to them.
