Please Note: Due to the COVID19 Pandemic the following trainings are currently scheduled to be held virtually but could change and be required in person.
STARS (27 hour certified state mandated pre-service training for prospective resource providers who reside in the northern regions of the state.)
- January 5 – February 23 (Tuesdays) and February 25 (Thursday) 5pm-8pm
- April 3 – April 24 (Saturdays) 9am-4:30pm and April 27 (Tuesday) 5pm-8pm
- July 1 – July 29 (Tuesday/Thursdays) 5pm-8pm
- September 2 – September 30 (Tuesday/Thursdays) 5pm-8pm
- November 6 – 20 (Saturdays) and December 4 (Saturday) 9am-4:30pm
STRONG (15 hour certified state mandated pre-service training for prospective resource providers who reside in the southern regions of the state.)
- January 14 – February 11 (Thursdays) 5pm-8pm
- April 1 (Thursday) April 3-24 (Saturdays) 5pm-8pm
- July 1 – July 29 (Thursdays) 5pm-8pm

Spaulding (12 hour certified state mandated training for prospective adoptive parents. STARS and or STRONG certificate required to attend this training.)

YEN (Level A) Training (An 18 hour certified training to provide foster parents tools to help children with escalated emotional and/or behavioral needs.Training topics include: relationship building, communication skills, discipline, de-escalation, behavior management techniques, management of crisis situations, documentation, and more.)(must attend all 5 sessions to complete this training)

Sibling Bond (A 7 hour certified training to support sibling relationships, negative effects of separations on siblings, preparing to better support and care for sibling groups, minimizing the trauma of separation and more.)

Ready, Set, Fly (5 hour certified mandated training for resource parents who have teens in their care. This training provides resource parents strategies to teach teens life skills to live independently.)
