Join Central Missouri Foster Care & Adoption in Stomping Out Abuse.

Every day, CMFCAA works extremely hard to provide critical services and resources to vulnerable foster, adoptive, and kinship children, youth, and families. This year, there are over 1,300 reported incidents of abuse and neglect in Boone County alone. We want to try to do our part to stop the abuse. For those neglected children we will be hosting a new event in the Columbia area. We want to invite you to join us for the inaugural Stomp Out Abuse fundraiser on April 27, 2023, at Cooper’s Ridge across the Missouri River in Boonville, MO. We will have silent auction items, a whiskey pull, a wine pull, and some good old-fashioned country music to dance to.

In 2022, we expanded the number of counties we serve from 13 to 24. We more than doubled our staff and added two new programs: Extreme Family Finding and Adoption Advocacy. We have big ideas for 2023, including expanding our Odyssey respite program, recruiting and training more foster and adoptive parents through our Family Development Program, and providing more assistance to young adults through our Community Connections Youth Project.
